RECYCLED PARTS CREATE NEW BATTERIES

ELECTROLYTES

These crystals can be sold for use in textile, glass & other manufacturing. The uncrystallized electrolyte can be reclaimed and reused in the battery manufacturing process or safely managed in accordance with environmental laws.

PLASTIC

Cases and covers are crushed into plastic pellets. Plastic pellets are used to manufacture new battery covers and cases.

LEAD

Battery grids, posts and terminals are melted down, resulting in lead ingots and lead oxide. Recycled lead is also used to make new battery grids. Recovered lead oxide is also used in new battery manufacturing.
